Holiday season is here! Every year, my Husband’s company throws a fabulous holiday party with a theme. Last year it was ugly sweaters, which didn’t exactly fit my personal style. This year it is black and white. Now that is more like it! I went shopping for my holiday party look at H&M, and boy am I happy with my outfit! It was super affordable as well. Yet another bonus was that I could do some holiday gift planning both in terms of items for my wish list and for planning on gifts for my female friends.
The prices at H&M are amazing, so I bought not just one but two dresses! One in black and one in white. So I can be indecisive right up to party time! My black dress is the Sleeveless Dress which has a comfy loose fit and cute decorative lace around the edges. I love this dress because is looks slimming and it moves well. It would be great to dance in!
Added to the dress is an adorable and sparkly Mobile Phone Clutch Case. I can put a bit of money and my phone in this at the party. You can add to this a Necklace with Pendant and Rhinestone Earrings to complete the look and H&M also carries tights, so I picked up a pair of 100 Denier Control-Top Tights.
My second dress is the Lace Dress. This is a form fitting sheath dress. I love the pattern on it, and it is rather flattering. I tried it out both with and without the black tights. I also picked up a black Woven Scarf to wear as a shawl in case the room gets cold.
For shopping, I checked out some of these items for my female friends and family. I think jewelry is great as gifts for friends, and H&M has a ton of trendy, affordable options. Pictured below are but a few of them. Sweaters are also wonderful gifts, and I like to give those to family. I think a cozy sweater always tends to convey a sense of love and warmth.
