Fitness is an important part of my life, both personally as a distance runner, and in terms of encouraging my husband to exercise more. Both of us are also busy people, so we can use all the help we can get keeping track of fitness goals, along with daily activities such as keeping up with email, our calendars, and social media. That is where the Moto 360 Watch comes in. It is fashionable and has the functionality needed to keep my husband and I up to date and in shape. I was sent a Motorola Moto 360 to try out in order to do this sponsored post.
The Moto 360 is a smart watch that pairs with your Andriod phone and allows you to access apps and tools on your wrist, all while being fashionable and in style. On the fashion end of things, the watch has an attractive overall design and offers multiple screen options to fit your personal taste and lifestyle. Here are just a few of them:
As for functionality, the watch offers quite a bit. You can get basic information like the weather and your favorite sports scores, but it goes deeper and also will send you all of your notifications from things like email, social media, text messages, and your calendar. That calendar option is particularly helpful for me since I don’t always pay attention to the phone. You can also use voice control to check items, use Google, or send text messages. It also has navigation settings. Personally, I rather like being able to read Facebook and my email on my wrist! Here is a look at the phone’s setup page for the watch.
The fitness functions are my favorite. There are a couple of ways you can use the watch to meet your fitness goals. For someone like my husband, who simply wants to set daily step goals and count steps, the watch connects with his phone functions for that and allows him to see his progress through out the day on the watch screen. You can also easily check heart rate at any time with it.
For someone like myself, who is a long distance runner, the watch can sync with the Runkeeper app, so I can view the data easily during a workout. I used to wear my phone on an armband and sometimes do some contortions to see the app, but with the watch, the phone can go in a running pouch and I can get the data that I need on my wrist, which is perfect. There are other apps available for the Moto 360 as well, such as Lyft, Eat24, Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, WhatsApp, and Tinder, etc. So, as you can imagine, there are a lot of possibilities for things you can do with it.
Overall, if you are looking to simplify your life or fitness goals and be fashionable while doing so, take a look at the Moto 360. It also would be a great holiday gift!
