1. How many guests will be seated at the table?
2. Are there any dietary peculiarities that you should take into account?
3. How much time do you have to spend on purchasing your materials?
4. How much time do you have for the cooking?
5. How much money do you have and/or want to spend on food? This will determine the answer to the last question.
6. How many dishes do you want to serve on the table? A Christmas dinner should includes at least 3 to 5 different plates.

The right order of ingredients and flavors

There are some golden rules regarding the order of the dishes that we will serve on the table, so it would be good to know them, before choosing the recipes.

1. The intensity of aromas and flavors must increase gradually, from dish to dish. This means that we start from lighter flavors to move to more robust, complex and heavy, with more complex aromas.
2. Fish comes first, followed by poultry and then red meat. In this way, the first rule is ensured, as well as the taste continuity. You obviously wouldn’t like it, so don’t do it to your guests either.
3. The appetizer can be served in the living room. If you decide not to go straight to the table, you can serve an appetizer and a glas of wine as a first welcome.
4. The salad is served either after the first course or at the end of the meal. Of course, if you want, you can have it on the table throughout the meal, but if you want to follow the standard, it is served between the first and the main course to cleanse the mouth of other flavors. If you still want to serve cheeses at the end of the meal, choose to serve the salad after the main course.

The LV bags designed by the artistic director, Nicolas Ghesquière, celebrate Louis Vuitton’s relationship with the artist, reinterpreting her trademark, which is nothing more than dots.
